SPBT’S 2007 BENCHMARK STUDY REVEALS KEY INDUSTRY TRENDS IN LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT; PARTICIPANTS REFLECT A “WHO’S WHO” OF THE INDUSTRY

The Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT), a nonprofit membership organization, has released its latest benchmark study of learning and development practices in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. This year’s study was designed with extensive input from training department heads, reflecting a “who’s who” of the industry.

“This year’s study offers in-depth data and valuable insights on the topics of greatest interest to training organizations,” says Brian Fagan, SPBT Executive Director. “Training and sales leaders are looking for a credible, confidential source of information, and we consider it part of our mission to provide accurate, reliable data to our industry.”

This year, SPBT contracted with Health Strategies Group to administer and provide the quantitative analysis of the study. "Their significant expertise in sales force effectiveness helped us provide our members with highly relevant, actionable data," Fagan says.

The SPBT Benchmark Study is completely confidential and is only available to member companies in SPBT. Also, the study is client private. SPBT does not reveal the names of participating companies.
